Abstract
Foreign bodies in the paranasal sinus or nasla cavity have been occasionally reported, but it seems rare that foreign body is located simultaneously in the paranasal sinus and nasal cavity.
As a general rule, types of foreign bodies are classified to things animate and inanimate. In the latter, it may be retained undetected for a long period, compared to a short period in the former.
We experienced an interesting case that found incidentally in paranasal sinus and nasal cavity, where a broken aluminum-chopstic has penetrated the septum from left nasal cavity into right maxillary antrum through Caldwell-Luc approach.
